Beyond NextGen: Solving the Challenges of Health Supply Chains

USAID is procuring its largest ever suite of contracts — nine global health supply chain contracts worth up to $17 billion — collectively known as NextGen.

However, USAID and other donors are also thinking hard about how to fund locally led organizations and involve communities in setting development priorities.

Devex Business Editor David Ainsworth speaks to a panel of experts from organizations working in the field to get their perspective on what essential changes we need to make to the system to get better results.

At this event we’ll debate key questions like:

  • What does best practice look like in development supply chains?
  • Will USAID stick to a “safety first” approach to procurement that would favor larger organizations with existing experience
  • How can health supply chains include more opportunities for small businesses? How can subcontracting relationships be improved?

Submit your questions live during the event or in advance to devexpro@devex.com.
