Energy and Environment Partnership Southern and East Africa Call for Proposals

The Energy and Environment Partnership Programme of Southern and East Africa (EEP S&EA) is focused on projects in all fields of renewable energy, bridging the gap between a good idea and a bankable project by providing part-financing to project proposals. These projects include various types of feasibility studies, as well as pilot, scale-up and demonstration projects.

EEP is a Programme which promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean technology investments. The Programme supports projects which aim to provide sustainable energy services to the poor and combate the climate change. The EEP Programme in Southern and East Africa is jointly funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, The Austrian Development Agency and the UK’s Department for International Development. EEP implementation started in March 2010.
