While they’d love to interact with you in-person, over the past 3 months, we’ve time and again demonstrated our ability to adapt to the new normal and assure all our members that the virtual conference will emulate the same in-person experience, by offering one-on-one networkingvirtual marketplaceexhibition boothsbreakout sessionsfireside chats, and panel discussions, as well as the recognition of the Global SME Finance Award winners, and the presentations of the best Call for Insights articles. Please join us for a new and exciting digital journey. Agenda:

GLOBAL SME FINANCE FORUM 2020
SME Finance Outlook 2030

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown the world into uncertainty and the outsized nature of the impact on governments, businesses and citizens is causing upheavals in the way we live and work, resulting in massive social and economic changes. While there are many disruptions and negative outcomes such as the unfortunate loss of life and reversals in poverty reduction, there is also the possibility for positive outcomes, as we take a hard look at ways of living and doing business that can and should evolve.

This is the context in which they offer this year’s Global SME Finance Forum, where they present and examine both challenges and opportunities in SME Finance. On the first day, we take the time to reflect on the current impact of COVID-19 on SME Finance, especially on key stakeholders, financial institutions, SMEs, fintech and policymakers. On the second day, we take a deeper look at the strategic initiatives and measures taken by individual institutions to respond to the pandemic and to better serve SMEs.  On the final day, we will examine what the future will hold for SME Finance and how businesses can evolve, and then offer ideas and thinking of ways to move more optimistically into the future.
