In this webinar, “Fancy That – Conversations that Change our World”,  Bashir Fancy and Nick Brown will delve much deeper into the challenges faced by Brazil as they assess both the positive and negative consequences of allowing Facebook to introduce WhatsApp Payments to their 120 million WhatsApp users in Brazil.  There is a bigger picture to consider – this move by Facebook is just one step in a global strategy as they strive to become one of a handful of Global Mobile Wallets.

The consequences of the misunderstanding of this bigger picture could be devastating for Brazil as well as all other countries and must not be taken lightly.  They will also be making suggestions that Governments and Central Banks can take to protect, as well as enhance, their financial industry, businesses, citizens, and even currencies.
