The e-MFP Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Finance Action Group is pleased to launch the Green Heroes working group, composed of Inclusive Finance Services Providers (IFSP) that have distinguished for their lasting experience and outreach in Green Inclusive Finance.

In this webinar 2 of its founding members will present their experience and lessons learnt.

Peter Marchetti, from Fondo de Desarrollo Local (FDL) and Nitlapan, Nicaragua, will tell us about climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation and ecosystems finance for agriculture and livestock activities of smallholder farmers.

Selma Jahich, from Partner Microcredit Foundation, Bosnia-Herzegovina, will tell us about clean energy and energy efficiency finance for households and micro-small enterprises in urban and peri-urban areas.

Together we will discuss results, challenges and lessons learnt, as well as invite other leading institutions with extensive expertise in green inclusive finance to join the Green Heroes of the GICSF-AG. The scope of this working group is to disseminate learning in the sector, ensure ongoing innovation, and work as catalytic think tank to leapfrog other IFSPs beginner in Green Inclusive Finance to support their faster achievement of green positive outreach face of the climate and biodiversity crisis ahead of us.
