Intro to Managing For Impact Training Programme for Enterprises: Webinar One

Webinar One of a two-part series will introduce a programme that will help you plan a roadmap to implement the SDG Impact Standards

AVPA and UNDP, through its Africa Sustainable Finance Hub (ASFH), are pleased to invite you for the first of two sensitisation webinars on the Managing for Impact Training Programme for Enterprises on 20 July 2022 from 4.00 – 5.30 pm East Africa Time.

These webinars are aimed at creating awareness of the virtual programme that is slated for September 2022, with applications opening up in the coming days. The programme is based on the SDG Impact Standards, developed by the UNDP, which provide a universal framework and management approach that integrates impact on the SDGs into business and investment decisions. The programme covers all sizes of enterprises but this training is specifically targeted at corporates. It aims to address a systemic management gap in the market that is needed to move the needle on the advancement towards the SDGs. The Managing for Impact Training Programme will guide participants on how to go beyond reporting by recognizing integrating SDGs into the core of operations makes good business sense for African stakeholders.

Join AVPA and the UNDP team on the 20th of July for:

  • An introduction of key impact measurement and management concepts, including sustainability, ESG, SDGs and impact
  • A discussion of the business case for sustainability, and an overview of the current sustainability ecosystems, including major players, principles, standards and metrics
