What’s Needed To Keep 1.5 C Alive?

Three leading experts will discuss what’s next for the Paris Agreement goal.

Upcoming event: April 13, 2023

As continuing emissions raise doubts about the Paris Agreement goal of limiting temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, it’s essential to remember that wrongheaded policy, not immutable physics, is what stands in the way. Exceeding 1.5 degrees C would condemn countless people, especially in the Global South, to misery while increasing the chances of irreversible catastrophes, such as the melting of Antarctica’s “Doomsday Glacier.” Strong decarbonization policies can make an enormous difference.

Join Covering Climate Now and three leading experts for a one-hour discussion about how to keep 1.5 degrees C alive.
