British International Investment and Laxmi Sunrise Bank Partner to Unlock Finance for Nepal’s Small Businesses and Women Entrepreneurs
British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor, has signed a $25 million credit facility agreement with Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited. The partnership will help expand access to finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Nepal, with a focus on women-led businesses.
