Korean Firm Kia Will Invest $649 Million in Mexico to Begin Production of Electric Vehicles in the Country

South Korean company Kia will invest $649 million from 2026 to 2028 to produce its first electric vehicle in Mexico, as part of the Mexico Plan, announced Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard. The current investment portfolio includes 1,186 projects valued at $404 billion.
