Stuart Hart – President and Founder of ESW and Faculty Emeritus at Cornell University, he is considered by many as one of the world’s top authorities on the implications of environment and poverty for business strategy. He has published over 70 papers and authored or edited seven books including the Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid and Capitalism at the Crossroads.

Ted London – Senior Research Fellow and Director, Base of the Pyramid Initiative at the William Davidson Institute and faculty member at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He is currently developing innovative programs focused on understanding the impact of base of the pyramid ventures on poverty alleviation. In addition, he is an expert on BoP business strategy and development of new markets in low-income communities.

Sagun Saxena – Director of CleanStar Ventures. Since 2005, he has led the development of new social and environmental enterprises that integrate his practical experience in business management and his expertise in clean technology and social development. He was instrumental in co-creating the strategy for CleanStar Mozambique, a leading-edge BoP business initiative combining environmental sustainability, BoP livelihood generation, and profitable growth.

Thomas Nagy – Executive Vice President of Supply Operations at Novozymes, responsible for supply, production, supply chain, process optimization, engineering and quality. In his previous role as Executive Vice President Stakeholder Relations, he was closely involved in the development of the CleanStar Mozambique venture in Africa. As such, he brings a unique perspective about what it takes to make BoP business a reality inside large corporations.
