Twitter Top Ten
As the month of May comes to an end, a number of intriguing developments have made some noise on Twitter. And unlike in the world of global soccer (sorry, make that football), this week in global development was marked by a fair amount of positive news.
This week’s Top Ten list was quite mobile-heavy, featuring an interesting (and apparently effective) medical app, lots of evidence of mobile money momentum from Africa to Latin America, and new mobile services that could improve the lives of millions of farmers. We also found room for some new impact investing resources, some promising health care innovations, and a couple of cool videos.
So enjoy – and feel free to send us your ideas for next week’s list. Tweet general social enterprise topics to @NextBillion or NB managing editor @ScotterAnderson, global health topics to @NextBillionHC and financial inclusion and impact investing topics to @NextBillionFI.
