Adam Fraser

Adam Fraser is a values-driven, collaborative leader working at the intersection of climate, philanthropy and social impact. Adam isn’t a climate scientist. He’s an operator who spent his career building partnerships that move money to where it actually changes things.

For a decade he ran the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, the global nonprofit founded under Nelson Mandela’s patronage. He led a portfolio of more than 300 grants using sport to confront violence, discrimination and inequality, and built funding partnerships on every continent. Then he looked at the climate crisis and saw a problem he recognized. The technology exists. The people exist. The will exists. What’s missing is capital moving fast enough, into the right hands, with the right structure.

So in 2023 he became the first CEO of Terraset, a nonprofit channeling philanthropic dollars into greenhouse gas removal at scale. Adam has trained at Harvard’s Kennedy School, addressed the United Nations, advised boards and CEOs across four continents, and led trainings for Major League sports. He grew up in the UK and lives in Brooklyn with his wife, their two daughters and their dog.
