Agnes is a management consultant with over 3 years of experience working in East Africa’s start up ecosystem. As a business consulting and research associate at Intellecap, her work cuts across the Financial services, Waste and livelihoods sectors, where she has been involved in the design and implementation of needs assessment and technical assistance programs for entrepreneurs, conducting landscape studies and knowledge sharing through development of company publications (Emerging technologies in Africa, Financial services and technologies opportunities in EA as well as Global Landscape of Gender Lens Investing). 

Agnes is passionate about driving inclusion and the economic empowerment of women, with a focus on gender lens investing (GLI). She is currently working on an engagement that involves the creation of tools and frameworks for investors and other financial institutions, to catalyze the flow of capital to women entrepreneurs in East Africa and South East Asia. This is a as a result of conducting an assessment of the Global GLI interventions, conducting an in-depth study of capital supply and demand gaps in the focus regions and identifying adaptable solutions from the global scale.
