Christy Stickney
International Consultant

Christy Stickney is an international consultant with 25 years of experience in market-based development strategies centered on affordable housing, financial services, and water/sanitation. Her consulting work has resulted in several publications on affordable housing and housing microfinance. Prior to consulting, Christy directed Habitat for Humanity’s housing finance programs in Latin America, and pioneered initiatives to stimulate innovation and increased scale in housing microfinance. Actively involved in microfinance since 1993, she formerly worked for Opportunity International, leading product design and training for poverty-focused lending worldwide. Christy currently consults from her home base in Costa Rica.
