Daivi Rodima-Taylor
Boston University

Daivi Rodima-Taylor is a social anthropologist and Africanist at the Pardee School of Global Studies of Boston University, and visiting researcher at the University of California, Irvine. Her research focuses on informal economies and local innovation, financial technologies and inclusion, and migration and diaspora.

At BU’s Center for Finance, Law and Policy, she led an interdisciplinary Task Force on migrant remittances and human security. She has taught anthropology and international relations, and published in academic and policy-oriented journals. 

Daivi’s PhD and MA are from Brandeis University, and BA from Tartu University, Estonia.
