Daniel Cossio
Village Capital

Daniel Cossio is Regional Manager for Latin America at Village Capital, where he works on supporting the emerging ventures by evaluating business models, providing connections to investors, potential partners, and other industry leaders, particularly in fintech and health care. Daniel has supported over 80 startups and led 7 acceleration programs in Latin America since 2016.

Prior to joining Village Capital, Daniel worked for Major League Hacking, a NY-based global organization that creates ecosystems for public and private university students to learn how to code. Before that, Daniel and his team founded OneWay, a venture that offered real-time crowdsourced security information for pedestrians, while increasing traffic to MSMEs in Mexico. This model received grant capital and investment offers to develop the platform in the US.

Daniel is holds a bachelor’s degree in business creation and development from Tec de Monterrey Santa Fe, a graduate diploma in investment analysis from ITAM, and a certificate in international development from the University of Cambridge.
