Julia Burchell leads community engagement for the GSMA Intelligence, Mobile for Development program to support and develop its free data, analysis and insight. She joined the team after three years specializing in M4D and gender. During this time she supported the launch and implementation of the GSMA mWomen Programme. She has a strong background in corporate communications, having previously represented organizations across the telecommunications, utilities, accountancy and law industries. She holds a first class honours degree in English from the University of Nottingham and a master’s in writing from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
