Lauren is a social scientist-turned-data scientist and experienced field manager of international health programs. Prior to joining the Quantitative Analytics area under Inclusive Fintech, Lauren led the field team that successfully eradicated Guinea Worm Disease from Karukomuge, a remote area of South Sudan covering 96 villages. She also managed the largest household study published to-date on children’s geophagy behavior and its link to environmental enteropathy, a condition that may cause stunting. Lauren holds a MSPH from the Health Systems Program (Monitoring & Evaluation track) in the Department of International Health from Johns Hopkins University and an SB in Urban Studies and Planning from MIT.
