Maya Ranganath

Maya Ranganath manages CEGA’s training and capacity building portfolio (Global Networks Initiative), which includes programs in East Africa and Bangladesh that contribute to local leadership in rigorous program evaluation. She has previously worked as a research associate for J-PAL South Asia, supporting a randomized evaluation seeking to improve crop prices for smallholder farmers in Gujarat, and later focused on building a partnership between J-PAL and the Government of Tamil Nadu. She has also worked as a research assistant for Women in Cities International, where she supported an initiative to make five cities around the world safer and more inclusive for adolescent girls. Ranganath holds an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in International Development and World Religions from McGill University.
