Harvard Medical School

Rebecca Weintraub, MD is a faculty member in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is Director, Better Evidence at Ariadne Labs and an Associate Physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Weintraub’s portfolio research and tools equip health systems leaders with predictions and strategies to plan for equitable health delivery. Rebecca leads the research and development of Cases in Global Health Delivery, a growing collection of 45+ case studies with Harvard Business Publishing. The cases are taught at 1000+ schools of medicine, public health, and business.  Dr. Weintraub continues to distribute and monitors a porfolio of digital tools for front line providers in 150+ countries. In 2020, Dr. Weintraub launched Ariadne Labs’ COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery response. Dr. Weintraub research integrates geospatial data, census tract and clickstream data for equitable health delivery.

Dr. Weintraub has established her role in the realm including advising the Health and Human Services National Vaccine Advisory Committee, serving on United States Pharmacopeia Health Equity Commission, publications in New England Journal of Medicine, Harvard Business Review and Health Affairs and media outlets including Netflix, New York Times, BBC, and NPR.
