Sanjay Jain
Santa Clara University

Sanjay Jain is an assistant professor at Santa Clara University. He received his PhD in Management from New York University, his post-graduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta, and his bachelor of engineering from Bangalore University.  His research interests include the emergence of innovations and industries, developing markets for underserved communities, technology entrepreneurship, and qualitative methods. Professor Jain has published articles in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Research Policy, Organization Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Industrial and Corporate Change and Asia-Pacific Journal of Management. He is currently on the editorial boards of Organization Science and Asia Pacific Journal of Management. His non-academic work experience includes stints with Lintas Advertising and Wipro-GE Medical Systems.
