Open B Impact Assessment Webinar
Join us for another B Impact Assessment Webinar together with other pioneers and leaders seeking to use their businesses as a force for good. The B Lab Europe Markets Development team will be there to introduce you to the B Corp movement and answer all your questions.
What is the B Impact Assessment (BIA)?
The B Impact Assessment is a free, confidential online tool that has been used by more than 80,000 companies to measure and manage their impact. The Assessment measures performance across five Impact Areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Customers and Environment, and is the standard used by Certified B Corporations and GIIRS Rated companies.
The B Impact Assessment (BIA) walks businesses through a series of questions to help them learn what it takes to build a better business – better for workers, the community, and the environment. The BIA also provides feedback to businesses on how they compare to other businesses, and tools and best practices to improve their impact over time.
In this session, we will explore the purpose of your company and identify how it relates to performance. The B Impact Assessment is a tool designed to capture those performance indicators in a comprehensive framework. The goal is to help you evaluate your business practices, and identify how to improve your impact performance.
Have you started BIA but stumbled across difficulties in answering some questions? Would you like to learn how to improve your impact? Or simply get more familiar with the assessment tool? If so, this webinar is for you! Sign up now!

Description
Africa’s urban population is rapidly expanding, with over 10 megacities and 52 cities exceeding 1 million people projected by 2050. This growth increases the demand for sanitation services, yet investment levels remain insufficient to meet current and future needs.
The International Water Association (IWA) recognises the urgent need to address global sanitation challenges. Through its Inclusive Urban Sanitation Initiative, IWA is launching Quarterly Sanitation Dialogues to enhance advocacy, learning, and knowledge exchange on inclusive urban sanitation.
This first dialogue is led by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and focuses on innovative financing for urban sanitation, with a strong focus on Africa. It will bring together experts from AfDB, Development Finance Institutions, and private sector investors to explore practical financing solutions. Participants will gain insights into successful financing models, real-world case studies, and strategies for mobilising investments, equipping utilities, city leaders, and service providers with actionable approaches to scale sustainable sanitation services across Africa.
Learning objectives
At the end of this dialogue, participants will be able to:
- Understand the major sanitation financing gaps and challenges in Africa.
- Understand what innovative financing models are needed for scaling sanitation investments.
- Gain insights into real-world case studies of successful sanitation financing.
- Explore ways to mobilise private sector engagement in sanitation services.
