About the Convergence Blended Finance Forum
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Convergence will host the first ever Global Blended Finance Forum in Washington, DC at the Fairmont Georgetown Hotel from November 3-5, 2025.
This first of its kind gathering will bring together a wide spectrum of blended finance practitioners to share insights, discuss market trends, and break down silos, with an aim towards defining the next decade of blended finance.
The Forum will take place as the Sustainable Development Goals also reach their decade mark. With five years to go, the world is at a critical juncture in the race to finance sustainable development, even as we saw unprecedented cuts in development aid in 2024 in countries such as the Netherlands and Germany. Private sector buy-in will be more critical than ever to mainstream investing in emerging markets for sustainable development.
