Advancing Access To Decentralised Agriculture Cold Storage

One-fifth of the produce is lost during post-harvest because of poor storage and transportation facilities, which are worsening with the onset of COVID-19. The pandemic coupled with the growing threat of climate change has exposed the disparity of infrastructure facilities available, impacting agricultural livelihoods, especially those of the farmers who grow perishable produce. It is critical that we create a resilient infrastructure that reduces transaction costs for farmers, while also mitigating future climate risks.

SELCO Foundation, in partnership with the India Climate Collaborative, is honoured to invite you for the national level webinar on Advancing Access to Decentralised Agricultural Cold Storage.

The webinar will bring together case studies from across the country on program design and the impact of Decentralised Agricultural Cold Storage Units. Bringing in critical stakeholders from Farmer Producer Organizations, Civil Society Organizations, Policy Makers, and Financiers; the webinar will aim to share key learnings and models, which are needed to be replicated across the country.
