APPLICATION DEADLINE: 2020 European Microfinance Award
The European Microfinance Award 2020 “Encouraging Effective & Inclusive Savings” highlights the crucial role that savings can play for low-income and excluded populations, and how financial providers can encourage their effective and widespread use.
The Award is a 2-round application process followed by a selection process.
Round 1: is a short round 1 application form outlining the applicant’s programme. The audited financial statements will need to be provided.
Due to the immense challenges the world is now facing with the COVID-19, the deadline to apply Round 1 is extented to May 5th, 23:59pm CET
As well as providing more time to complete the short Round 1 application form, this will also give applicants the opportunity to include specific details of how their savings programmes are relevant to this crisis, if they wish. Note: applicants that have already submitted will be allowed to re-open their application and re-submit by the new deadline.
Round 2: The succesfully selected applicants will be contacted to complete Round 2 application form explaining their programme in greater detail as well as providing supporting documentation.
