As India races towards its Net-Zero goals and a resilient clean energy economy, developing a circular and self-reliant battery ecosystem has never been more critical. There is an urgent need for robust policies, regulations, and implementation strategies to enable battery recycling, reuse, and responsible end-of-life management.

The Battery Summit 2025, hosted by WRI India and Battery360 Alliance in partneship with DST as knowledge partner, builds on these conversations — bringing together innovators, policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to shape India’s battery innovation and circular economy roadmap and accelerate India’s clean energy transition and realize the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
