Building a More Sustainable Education Landscape: Lessons From a Decade of Supporting Low-Fee Private Schools in Ghana
Although significant progress was being made in improving enrollment in basic education in Ghana before COVID-19, the pandemic has left this progress at risk. With less than a decade remaining to achieve SDG4, the non-state sector has been receiving increasing recognition as a powerful tool that has the potential to improve both access to education and learning outcomes.
With over a decade of experience supporting low-fee private schools in Ghana through their Rising Schools Program, the IDP Foundation is uniquely positioned to discuss strategies to facilitate a more holistic approach to education that ensures that no child is left behind. In this webinar, representatives from the Foundation will discuss the challenges facing the education sector in Ghana, as well as specific recommendations for improving educational outcomes and the long-term business sustainability of low-fee private schools that can inform funding strategies.
