The Changing Nature of Work: Amplifying the Voice of the Financially Vulnerable Worker
The nature of work has changed and will continue to change, in ways that are hard to predict. But, all indications are that traditional full-time work for one employer will continue to diminish, while other forms of work arrangements flourish. Commonwealth has engaged in research to increase knowledge about the nature of work through the eyes of financially vulnerable individuals working in non- traditional arrangements. We engaged with over a thousand workers from across the country in four ways: a national survey, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and online.
