Future Bora Virtual Launch Event

The Government of Kenya, through its Kenya Youth Employment Opportunities Project, World Bank and Intellecap are excited to invite you to their virtual launch event of Future Bora Innovation Challenge.
In Kenya, vulnerable and under-served youth population groups – such as orphans, youths from vulnerable and marginalized communities, persons with disabilities, youths affected by conflict, single mothers, and street youths- are even more adversely affected by the challenges of unemployment as they are unable to participate and benefit from mainstream employment interventions. These youth groups face obstacles that are unique to their environments such as stigmatization and misconceptions, sole childcare responsibilities, lack of mentorship, and limited access to adaptive learning.
The Future Bora Innovation Challenge aims to expand economic opportunities for these vulnerable and under-served Kenyan youth by supporting organizations that have interventions that are tailored to the local and highly specific needs of these youth groups. The Innovation Challenge will support selected three organizations to scale their interventions through grant support of KSH 40 Mn for each, paired with advisory & mentoring support over a period of six months.
