Following the successful launch of the CITO Uganda community in June, the conversation continues on 14 August as CIOs and senior technology leaders reconvene for the second CITO Uganda Summit.

Under the theme “Future-Ready CIO: AI & Digital Transformation,” the Summit will explore how technology leaders are preparing their organisations for an increasingly AI-driven future while accelerating digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value. As the role of the CIO continues to evolve beyond technology operations, the discussion will focus on the leadership, strategy, and innovation required to navigate rapid technological change.
Building on the momentum established at the inaugural gathering, the Summit will bring together CIOs to exchange insights, share experiences, and examine the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and enterprise-wide transformation. It will also provide a platform for strengthening collaboration among Uganda’s technology leaders and advancing the conversations that matter most to the country’s digital future.
