Innovation and Growth: Current Trends in the Modern Energy Cooking Funding Landscape

It is with great pleasure that MECS and Energy 4 Impact invite you to participate in the webinar “Innovation and Growth: current trends in the Modern Energy Cooking Funding Landscape”, on Tuesday 8th March at 14:00 GMT | 09:00 EST, 17:00 EAT.

The webinar will present key findings from our joint report “Modern Energy Cooking: Review of the Funding Landscape” (https://mecs.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Modern-Energy-Cooking-Review-of-the-Funding-Landscape.pdf). Launched last February, the report is the culmination of a research partnership between Energy 4 Impact and MECS that aims to facilitate greater investment in the clean cooking sector. Taken as a whole, the five reports in the Financing Clean Cooking series comprise a wide-ranging analysis of the financing mechanisms currently at play within the sector, whilst offering recommendations to donors and other funders on the potential interventions needed to support the growth of clean cooking. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion reflecting on the challenges and opportunities for financing the transition to modern energy cooking. The webinar is expected to last for around one hour and a half with the planned format as follows;
