LCS Forum – Practicing Conflict Sensitivity in Capacity Strengthening

Today, we are witnessing a global rise in conflict, democratic backsliding, authoritarian governance, climate disaster, food insecurity, and falling development indicators. One of the first casualties of conflict and social division is local capacity. The Bureau of Conflict Prevention and Stability will host an engaging discussion on the interconnectedness of capacity strengthening, peace, and conflict sensitivity. The session will focus on the recently published CPS Bureau guidance on local capacity strengthening and highlight examples from USAID programming. The session will link to the recently published CPS Bureau guidance on local capacity strengthening.
