Managing For Impact Training Programme for Enterprises: Webinar Two

AVPA and UNDP, through its Africa Sustainable Finance Hub (ASFH), are pleased to invite you to the second webinar in the Managing for Impact Training Programme for Enterprises.

These webinars are aimed at creating awareness of the virtual programme that is slated for September 2022, with applications opening up in the coming days. The programme is based on the SDG Impact Standards, developed by the UNDP, which provide a universal framework and management approach that integrates impact on the SDGs into business and investment decisions. The programme covers all sizes of enterprises but this training is specifically targeted at corporates. It aims to address a systemic management gap in the market that is needed to move the needle on the advancement towards the SDGs. The Managing for Impact Training Programme will guide participants on how to go beyond reporting by recognizing integrating SDGs into the core of operations makes good business sense for African stakeholders.

It will build up on the discussion from Webinar One while setting a broader context to the programme by focusing on the:
  • Introduction to managing for impact and presentation of how it contributes to sustainability and SDGs
  • Discussion of integrating sustainability and SDGs into internal internal management systems and decision making through the SDG Impact Standards by presenting concepts, structures and business actions
