Join us for a session focused on navigating mentorship as an early-stage entrepreneur. We’ll cover how to find a mentor, the importance of mentorship, the do’s and don’ts surrounding mentorship, and then transition into an open conversation surrounding our own lived experiences with mentorship, both personal and professional.

About our Speaker

Jorge is a Program Manager with SEED SPOT and has been working at the intersection between entrepreneurship and social impact since 2014, when he launched a 12-week entrepreneurship program for marginalized youth in South Florida. Since then, he has devoted his career to uplifting and training hundreds of global leaders who are using the vehicle of entrepreneurship to build positive impact. In addition, Jorge believes that access to transformative, hands-on education allows people the ability to build the life and impactful career that they want.Jorge holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida International University and a graduate degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development from the University of Miami. He is also a Board Member and Partner at Social Venture Partners, Boulder County, and is a mentor and advisor to emerging entrepreneurs and organizational leaders across the world.
