TaroWorks Webinar: Creating Impact with Barcodes and Bicycles

Many NGOs and social enterprises use physical assets as vehicles for change, and therefore need to track those items carefully. In areas with poor internet connectivity, tracking items and impact can be especially difficult.

World Bicycle Relief‘s Bicycles for Educational Empowerment Program (BEEP) works to improve the quality of life for children, households and communities through the power of bicycles. By distributing their Buffalo Bicycles to children in rural, developing areas, World Bicycle Relief has increased school attendance of vulnerable schoolchildren by 28%. They’re using Salesforce and the TaroWorks offline mobile field service app to track bicycle maintenance statuses, and track outcomes of schoolchildren at school.

We’re excited to be joined by Alisha Myers, Director of Monitoring & Evaluation at World Bicycle Relief, and Wilmarié Moreland, Director for Africa at Vera Solutions, as they share their journey of building a barcoding and tracking system in Salesforce.com that supports their work in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Kenya.
