The African Venture Philanthropy Alliance is thrilled to announce “The Africa Advantage”, a magazine and movement to showcase Africa as a globally competitive destination for impact capital. As the world grapples with an ever-increasing number of challenges, from climate change to pandemics, the question of where to turn for sustainable solutions with lasting impact becomes ever more pressing. At AVPA, we believe that the answer lies in Africa -. The continent is often perceived as an impact destination, yet it is abundantly rich in potential for innovative transformative change. The Africa advantage lies in the diversity and extremity of its social challenges which provide unparalleled opportunities for testing innovative and globally scalable solutions. This not only positions Africa as an investment frontier but also as the world’s premium sandbox for impactful innovations. – The goal of “The Africa Advantage” magazine is to elevate the exposure and understanding of these unique African opportunities and the role of investment, thought leadership, and global partnerships in leveraging them.
