Join us on April 2 for the first segment of Sufficient Balance Sessions where we’ll hear from Product Managers at Facebook and WhatsApp on various processes and toolsets used across Silicon Valley and a discussion around how they approach the question of product market fit. There will be an open Q&A at the end of the session.

Dianna Yau, a Product Manager at Facebook who is building products to scale internet connectivity to the next billion people in emerging markets will lead the session. Previously, she worked at IBM, Google and Rocket Internet on global strategy, sales, and marketing. Beyond her day job, she helps build up startup ecosystems in emerging markets and has traveled to over 80+ countries mentoring and helping startups.

You’ll also hear from Amrit Pal, a product lead at WhatsApp, who previously started and led two of Square’s fastest growing products in billions of dollars in volume. Earlier, he led product at Kopo Kopo, a fintech startup in sub-saharan Africa whose software powers the largest independent merchant network in the mobile.

This is the first segment in our Sufficient Balance Sessions series designed to facilitate practical discussion with actionable insight for African founders.
