The Ol Pejeta Conservancy (OPC) is a leading wildlife conservancy in Kenya that works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes, and generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprise for reinvestment in conservation and communities.

Ol Pejeta is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will report to the Board of Directors and he/she will be responsible for the development and execution of the long-term strategy of the organization, engaging and communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ senior leadership experience, with the ability to lead the organization towards the following key areas: conservation, community/rural development, revenue generation, and sustainability. They will also have deep and high-level networks within the conservation space as well as a proven track record of managing both internal and external stakeholders including handling local community engagements. Finally, the CEO should have strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to create opportunities for growth within an organization.
