Press Release: Applications Open for 100X Impact Accelerator’s 2025/2026 Cohort

100x Impact Accelerator, a world-leading social impact accelerator based at the London School of Economics (LSE) has today launched applications for its 2025/2026 Cohort of social ventures.

They are looking for highly scalable models, that can be for-profit or non-profit, addressing global challenges in the areas of climate and environment, democracy, education, health, and social cohesion, among others.

Fan Gu, Deputy Director and Head of Impact Investments at 100x, said:

“We want to support bold and ambitious ventures that have the potential to reshape broken systems. The challenges we face today—from climate change to inequality—demand innovative solutions that can scale to billions in impact. We’re committed to providing these ventures the capital, connection and challenge they need to take their impact to the next level.”

Social ventures selected for the programme will receive £150,000 in funding and 12 weeks of programming focusing on “endgame” strategies for achieving impact at scale and impact measurement. The programme includes one week of in-person sessions at the LSE, 10 weeks of virtual workshops and expert advisory, and an annual Summit Day, where founders showcase their solutions, successes and challenges to a curated community of funders, experts, policymakers and media.

“The 100x portfolio is made up of a vibrant, global community of inspiring impact-makers, operating across diverse sectors and geographies. We’ve continually evolved our programme based on their insights and we invite other visionary founders to join this dynamic community,” said Georgia Kewley, Head of Programme at 100x.

100x Impact Accelerator aims to support up to 20 social ventures every year, with 70% coming from emerging markets. The Accelerator already boasts a portfolio of 19 impactful ventures from across the globe, delivering solutions in multiple sectors—including climate and environment, democracy, education, health, financial inclusion, and education.

“Over time, we’ve refined our application and selection process to make it more transparent and better for all applicants. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and earlier submission is highly encouraged,” Fan added.

Application review commences 28 October 2024 and social ventures are encouraged to apply early for timely feedback.
