Sateen Shethis the manager of Research Project Implementation at theWilliam Davidson Instituteat theUniversity ofMichigan. He has over ten years of experience in both corporate and non-profit environments, focused on BoP/social enterprise impact assessment and venture development as well as Internet/mobile product strategy and development.

Sateen leads a team responsible for long-term applied-research initiatives related to the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) Initiative,impact investing, social enterprise and impact assessment in partnership with organizations such as the Rockefeller Foundation, ANDE, and the Bernard Van Leer Foundation. At WDI, Sateen has also advised organizations on socialbusiness model development and led the strategic design and implementation of several BoP impactassessment studies. He has co-authored a paper published in the Journal of Business Research titled,"Creating mutual value: Lessons learned from ventures serving base of the pyramid producers" thatassessed and developed a framework around the common constraints facing BoP Producers.
