Vishal Ghotge is the CEO of Kiva, a financial access nonprofit founded in 2005 that harnesses the power of crowdfunded loans to help underserved communities thrive. Vishal has more than 20 years of experience building consumer marketplaces, developing global fintech solutions and creating products for small business owners. More importantly, he brings to Kiva a passion for building mission-driven organizations and using technology to drive impact at scale. Vishal grew up in Mumbai before immigrating to the U.S., where he has worked for organizations including Remitly, the leader in cross border remittances to 170+ countries, PayScale, Groupon, and Microsoft.
