Join us for the virtual launch of the Blended Finance Accelerator for Fund Managers (A4FM), a new initiative designed to strengthen global and Canadian fund/asset managers’ use of blended finance as a critical structuring tool for investing in emerging and developing markets (EMDEs). A4FM offers a comprehensive suite of support including skill building, catalytic grant awards, and ongoing acceleration support required to structure and launch blended finance solutions. This program is implemented by Convergence with the support of Global Affairs Canada.

What to expect at the launch:

• An overview of A4FM’s mission, strategic rationale, and its role in unlocking institutional capital for sustainable investments in EMDEs
• A breakdown of A4FM’s three core components
• Details about the application process for the A4FM and insight into how to apply, eligibility criteria, and evaluation criteria

In addition to key insights, the virtual launch will feature a panel discussion on the role and value of blended finance for institutional fund and asset managers. The discussion will explore both the challenges and opportunities in this space, and how acceleration support can help unlock sustainable solutions in EMDEs.
