The/Nudge receives $250,000 grant from Rockefeller Foundation
The/Nudge Foundation, a Nandan Nilekani- backed non-profit focussed on sustainable poverty alleviation, has received a $250,000 grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, one of the largest and oldest names in global development philanthropy. The firm will use the grant to build organisational capacity, and expand its reach outside of Karnataka.

Google announces $1b commitment to tech education
The search giant said $10 million of the $1 billion commitment will be provided to Goodwill, a workforce development non-profit, to launch the Goodwill Digital Career Accelerator. It is the largest grant Google.org has awarded to a single organization, the company noted.

If you work on food security or clean water or pollution prevention–or on one of more than 30 other issue areas–the tool narrows a list of 750 accelerators to those that are most relevant. The tool also filters by the location a startup aims to help, the type of business or nonprofit, the type of help the accelerator can provide, and the stage of the enterprise, from an idea to a business with strong revenue.
