Charlene Mburu

Charlene Mburu supports the Mini-Grid Innovation Lab at CrossBoundary, primarily with data analysis. Having grown up in Kenya, where much of the population still lack access to grid electricity, Ms. Mburu is passionate about revolutionizing rural electrification through data-driven decision making. She previously worked with a mini-grid developer in East Africa, generating insights from solar consumption patterns.

Charlene holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering focused on energy systems from the University of Vermont.
